Any parents here with kids in P1 this year? How many PE lessons per week? I heard that it is 3x per week. If true, I will buy more PE attire and fewer school uniforms for my kid starting P1 next year . Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have a transfer Indo maid to recommend ? Reason for transfer should not be negative eg cannot cope with too much household chores, caught stealing valuable etc.

I am going to let go of my current maid in March 2016 so looking around now. Basic tasks include bringing back and forth my 4 year old to childcare centre daily. Household chores like washing and cooking.

I just get to know that Just Education is opening 1 branch at Punggol Plaza. Will be operating in early Nov 2010.
Anyone has kids with Just Education?Pls advise if it is good. I think the prices is cheaper than Mind Stretchers.
I've seen the branch at Sengkang CC. It is always crowded and I always hear counter staff say \"On waiting list\" or \"Class is full\"

My DD was in JE in SKCC from P5/P6 Maths in 2013 & 2014. She scored A in PSLE. If you want your kids to score A*, then I feel JE doesn't really prepare the students for that. Just my personal opinion :nailbite:

I use threadfin or cod fish. Meat is softer & fewer bones. red snapper’s texture is coarse, not as tasty if u compare with the former. You can mesh pork or chicken for a change so that your toddler gets a variety. Sometimes I also put 田鸡 just for the taste.

Each boy brings 15 chocolate bars to school for Teacher’s Day party. They are shared equally among 20 girls and a form teacher with no leftovers.
i) how many students are there in the class
ii) how many chocolate bars did the teacher get

My DD was there 6 yrs ago but now they have changed principal & teachers already (very common for ccc).

During DD time, I was quite satisfied overall except for the "fruit idea". Every fri, each kid needs to bring 1 fruit (cannot be apple), & the cook will cut & let the kids share. I pay so much every mth, still need to spend $ on fruits??? Anyway this is just a small setback, overall I am satisfied.

Their meals not bad, they provide green veg instead of potato, carrot (I prefer green veg -> more fibre).

You may wish to go down & view the centre on a weekday & see how they conduct lessons, their meals, etc. Weekend very few kids & not much teaching so u wont get to see the full picture.
