Yes. Will go with LSH. My husband checked around Medical Drive and couldn't find a way to PGP. He got very :frustrated: and has since decided not to go with LV.Yes, more or less with LSH. You make up your mind?

Good to have you around since you are good in feedback to Patricia.
Just see from google map, there is no link from medical faculty/NUS directly to PGP. Must either go through South Bouna Vista Road or go YI round-about :x -

Not what I heard though. I was told by a public parent that during the briefing with LV, NUS OHR has indicated that the centre at Kent Vale will be solely for staff of NUS. Public parents were asked to go. I have confirmed this with the Principal. Hence am puzzled why Fion gets to be in the wait list. The more i think, I just felt OHR has not been very transparent. Dunno what went wrong. Anyway, I think we might be taken for a ride by OHR hence also push factor to join LV @ SP2.lzxuan:
Any idea if public parents who kids are in LV@NUS currently get priority as well for enrolling in LSH@KV?
All parents whose children are in LV@NUS will definitely have confirmed places in LSH@KV. This was told to us specifically. -

She is from public enrollment and she has checked with LSH, she will have the same priority as us since she is currently in KV.qms:

Hi shooflea!
You were told by a \"public\" parent - I suppose the \"public\" parent currently has a child in LV@NUS? Since the child is already in LV@NUS, LSH, by right, should give the child a confirmed place in LSH@KV. Unless LSH practices the left way.......shooflea:
During our briefing, I didn't have the impression that LSH@KV would be solely for NUS staff. The fact that they showed rates for both NUS and non-NUS staff was an indication, to me, that the KV centre would also be open to non-NUS staff. Priority will be given to NUS staff, of course. The reply dates that they flashed, also indicated that non-NUS staff could apply with them now.Hence am puzzled why Fion gets to be in the wait list.
shooflea:
Agreed that OHR (or rather, OED) wasn't transparent. OHR is perhaps the \"scapegoat\" because OED is the department handling this matter. In fact, to date, I don't know why a representative from OHR attended the briefing sessions, rather than someone from OED.The more i think, I just felt OHR has not been very transparent. Dunno what went wrong. Anyway, I think we might be taken for a ride by OHR hence also push factor to join LV @ SP2.
We were very put off by NUS, too. However, after considering the pros and cons, we have decided to go with LSH.
To be fair, we are equally put off by LV, too. Why couldn't they be more upfront on the location of the new centre? When I called up LV@NUS last Friday afternoon, the staff told me that even the principal didn't know the exact location of the centre. They were just waiting, waiting and waiting for the management/HQ to deliver the layout to them. So much for the communication. There are other factors that push us to LSH, too, which I don't think is appropriate for me to mention here.
In short, looks like it's a done deal for us in LSH. -

Which means your girl will have to bear with my girl's noise for the next one year!

Hi lzxuan!
Did you visit the other LSH centres that had open house? If so, how do you find the centres? -
qms:
Hi morning. I did not manage to go to any other centers. But I heard yesterday from one parent whose girl is in Piety class, his girl likes LSH@Jurong Safra. The parent finds it good too. I have PMed you last night, check it out. Do check your PM constantly as of any \"latest update\" on the name list!Hi lzxuan!

Did you ask the parent how was the layout in LSH@Jurong Safra? Is it partitioned with low cabinets or do they have proper classroom?lzxuan:
Yeah. Checked my inbox already. Thanks for the update. My husband is the one who brings them to and fro school, and he doesn't bother to find out anything from anybody. He gets more information from me, and of course, thanks to you, I have more information than him! :whut:Do check your PM constantly as of any \"latest update\" on the name list!
