      KS parents:

Hi Club 2006, anyone DS / DD pursuing music? Piano, violin, organ??

I am thinking to switch my DS out of Yamaha JMC, his class size of 11 shrink to 6. Also lots of trouble maker in the class. Thinking of switching him to violin, wondering which centre or teacher is good.

My DD plays guitar. A little regret coz it's a little more difficult for young children as certain technique require fingertip strength. Should have start with a more' child friendly ' instrument.

maybe not too late to switch?

I play the guitar. A painful experience. Have to keep playing. If not the finger tips soften then the process of toughening them starts over again

          Hi Puff,
My DS is playing guitar too. He has just started last Nov cos he had been bugging me to let him learn guitar. I agree with you that it's really not an easy instrument for a 6 year old. I'm also thinking of switching him to another instrument but he said he wanna continue with it as he enjoys. Gonna give him another month and decide again.

My girl haven’t yet asking any qn.

Yesterday I asked her, why boys go to boys toilet, girls go to girls toilet? She said boys go to boys toilet otherwise T scold them.
I try to build the open communication, later will be useful. I used to be very shy. Now it’s part of my parenting role.

My boy also start to cover \"downstairs\" when we change him, but when I ask him why, he could not answer proberly, it seems they don't know the real reason but someone at school or somewhere must have told them it is better not to expose it. 😂
