Any tips on how to cope with IS - chemistry in JH1? It seems like quite a challenge to cope with this subject.
Other than reading the recommended text and Internet, is there any other way to better cope with this subject?

Equally helpless here. Just printed some very brief fundamental chemical concepts for my DD from BBC \"Elements and Reactions\". I don't even know if it is of any help to her. Will show her later. Feel so insecure, no textbook other than recommended reference books.

It is a new subject. Give the children some time to find their way around it. Relax
