HVR,Given the preconceived mind of some forumers here, I am beginning to feel there is little or no point to express and exchange views here.
Without doubt, there are forumers who are objective and their views are based on facts and logic. It was a joy to read such posts and I appreciate their views.
I would thought majority of forumers here are parents, which imply maturity and imbued with sense of responsibility. I hope to see postings and views reflect such maturity and responsibility and we all can exchange views with objectivity in mind. Disappointingly, my experience thus far show that this is not the case.
Vaguely remember a forumer posted that the 'active' members are those pro oppositions as the 'quiet' one are contended and wouldn't post their views. If that is the case it is not surprising I find lack of objectivity in the discussion.
Having said the above, this is an excellent site! I have gained a lot from the postings by fellow parents in other threads. Perhaps I will just stick to other threads. I will resist very hard to post on this thread.
Why did u come into dis thread to post while others

If as u said, there r more pro-oppo views than d contented pro-PAP voters
who chose not to post, then all d more u shd contribute ur views
in d name of fairness n objectivity.
As a result of wat I chose to post, I believe I gave d impression to many
dat I was pro-oppo n I was even called a staunch WP supporter.
Off d mark. I m actually pro-SG n a sucker for d underdog.
Before u n Vote PAP, d chief proponent of pro-govt was 3Boys,
so many here were surprised when he revealed dat he actually voted for d oppo in GE2011.
I thus also came to believe dat perhaps he is also pro-SG.
I will be brutally honest with u here.
I find dat yours n Vote PAP’s posts were one dimensional in d YSL saga,
n I only came in again into dis thread to post when u or Vote PAP said
u wld ask for full disclosure of whichever party faces d allegations.
I hv seen, heard n know dat d picture MIW painted for public consumption is not all it seems.
If I can raise some awareness for those who still believe blindly
dat our starting point in history is a sleepy fishing village when d PAP took over, I wld be satisfied.
But we will give credit where it’s due.
D gahmen has done a lot to bring us to where we r today.
Nevertheless, there is a system within a system. I can understand n accept dat.
But it becomes objectionable to fair-minded folks when hypocrisy is clearly displayed.
If u care to read again my posts in dis thread, u will know wat I was hinting at.
So if u hv expressed ur views coz u feel u need to speak up for d other side or u see some unfairness,
I hope u do continue to join us to share ur views in dis forum.
In dat respect, we r d same.
It can only be good for a SG dat our children will inherit.

I have a very very fertile imagination. So when I read all these very stimulating threads, my brain got over stimulated (nota bene: BRAIN ONLY... nothing ELSE). I woke up one morning having dreamt that I had had affairs with THREE men AT THE SAME TIME... and had to explain my actions to a husband who was broken-hearted in my dream. I awoke clutching his EAR with a vengeance and apologising with tears running down my pillow.

This of course meant he was somewhat broken-eared in real life. The worse thing is, that I didn't get to dream any of the FUN parts. I only dreamt about the day of reckoning!! :stompfeet:

Nice. Short and sharp.
I don't like to post in this thread. No pleasure in seeing YSL get tripped up, it only reminds us of the fallibilities of men (and women), and we really do need leaders who are bullet proof. I do have a soft spot for LTK and the WP, you will note I did not say a bad thing about YSL's alleged affair, I am merely chastising of those who choose to turn a blind eye, or deny that there was even anything wrong to begin with.
