I am not too sure. Is a long time ago since i googled.

You can some interesting maths problems books in amazon too but I don't think international maths olympiad is for sec 1 and 2 students so is too early to worry about it.

Is it true that Dunman High and River Valley High field only girls' teams for inter-school softball and cross-country competitions?

What happen to the boys' teams?

There are no boys in softball and cross-country.

I did see a few boys training together with the softball girls last thu while i was waiting to pick up my child. maybe they just started a boys team?

Oh yes, they started a boys' team this year. For scout, they opened up to girls too.

The boy-girl ratio in both schools is 1:2. Thus it is more difficult to find enough sports talented boys to fill up strong teams for sports competitions. But that cannot be a complete excuse, boys should have 1-2 niche sports also.

Yes, especially in view of the latest MOE's initiative to have students to be more involved in physical education activities and sports.
For cross-country, should be able to find 6 boys to run for the school.
