      hihi,

this is my first posting since i joined last yr.
I will be starting my PV work at RVPS in Mar this yr, anyone here like me?

Hi hubby and I are also waiting for phone call from the school to clock in the hrs for PV. Did the school confirm with you on the PV and what will you be doing?

sigh...doing it 2nd round for my son...1st round for my girl..as my girl just entered St. Margaret this year.....

Actually my first choice would be ACS junior but we are staying 1-2Km worried might be too risky so backup plan is river valley.... hope this school is not so stressful...

      How about u??

My suggestion is keep calling the school for PV activities instead of waiting for them to call.

This is my first time doing PV. 🙂

I have jus called up RVPS and the lady in charged said that PV work will only start from June as they r still clearing the PV for 2006.

Think will have to call to check again in a mth or two's time

              Hello,

Any parents here whose kid is in P4.
I would like to check if your kid is having as many homework as mine.
On average, she spends 4hr daily to get her homework done. Or is that a norm?

Also, have anyone raise concern to RVPS on the weight of the School Bag?

              Tks.

                Hello,

There seems to be more hmwk in P4 now compared to P3. More given out on Fri for the weekend.

My DS has been given the practice CA1 papers to do over this weekend. This is earlier than compared to last year, where practice CA1 papers were just give the weekend prior to CA1 !! This is much better cos teachers would hv more time to go thru the practice CA1 papers with the students.

How much time kid spend on hmwk is subjective. My DS is very draggy.....he takes ages to complete his work !! I have to keep harping at him to get his hmwk done.

As for weight of sch bag, I have no complains. DS pack his bag himself. It seems lighter than when he was in P3 though....either he conscientiously packing his bag or he just simply forgot to bring his books....though i think its the former 😂 Students do have lockers in sch rite....u may want to make use of that.

oh…did anyone have the practice CA paper for (normal) Chinese?

DS Chinese so-so only…so maybe its just me but the compre part seems quite tough…testing alot more on the students’ understanding of the story & being able to express one answer in own words…

just sharing…there may be external vendor conducting EL creative writing class, in term 2…

                    Hi Shandee,

Thanks. BTW, I was wondering when the English remedial will start for P4.
                    Any idea?
                    Tks,

I thought Remedial are for those students with poorer grades.

                        Supplementary are for all students.
                        Well, I maybe wrong.
