May someone enlighten me what’s the difference among the various types of Dharma classes? Does its origin affects the contents? Lately registered daughter for classes in kmspks at sin ming, still waiting for them to call for interview to determine if she is suitable for the class!

Hi Piggi,
You can try google Buddhist Fellowship. My kids have been attending Sunday classes since Jan. I can see improvement in their viewpoint. It's every Sunday (11am to 12.30pm). Meanwhile, the adults can go for Sunday Dharma talks. All conducted in English.
In my opinion, everyone (young & old) is suitable to learn the Dharma so I'm puzzled why is an interview necessary. It is important that parents themselves have faith and right knowledge of the Dharma, so that our kids can cultivate the interest and trust in their parents.
Once, I asked a mom about their house rules. She confidently told me that their house rules is THE 5 Precepts. Meaning, whatever the kids do, it's guided by the 5 Precepts. -

Hi Pet mama,
may I know which temple ur kids are attending? Thanks.
is there an age limit? -
My kids are attending Dharma Classes at Buddhist Fellowship. It’s called Rahula Class. (Buddha’s son is named Rahula)
Address: No 2 Telok Blangah Street 31, Singapore 108942 (Yeo’s Building, 2nd Floor)
Time & Date: Every Sunday, 11am - 12.30pm
Parents can attend Sunday Service (Dharma Talks) while waiting for their kids.
Last week, my kids joined the youth to do car wash for fund raising. It was a meaningful way to teach them get them out of comfort & not to take things for granted. And they had fun.
The week before, we celebrated lantern festival at Ren Ci Home for the Aged. The kids get to feed the residents and I talked to my kids about aging and compassion. And one day, mommy will be like them.
