It's amazing isn't it. Our MOE thinks it is world class when...
(1) its textbooks look like chick lit
(2) it makes each school and teacher write its own teaching resources
(3) it recruits sex fiends
(4) it tests what it has no resources to teach properly
(5) it drives our children to meet KPIs, and when a few of them make it in US varsities, it congratulates itself.
AND
(6) it uses Singaporean taxpayers' money to groom foreign scholars who hate Singaporeans, whilst people like beanbear in a 3 year pre-U course have insufficient materials and inadequate teaching by secondary level teachers who are made to teach for 'A' levels... If this is true, this is too much. This fella definitely does not deserve the scholarship. He should be taken off the scholarship & made to pay back. He sure sounds ungrateful & thinks he is superior, we dun need such people around.

As per reported in my paper:
has been studying here since sec 2 and introduced himself as being twice chosen to be on the dean's list. now an intern and due to graduate in a few months' time. He left a message with my paper reporter:' he is ranting due to some frustrations and has deleted the post. He does not want to blow up the matter and did not mean to 'attack' us, apologise for causing the uproar and kindly let the matter rest. Please understand.'

Refused to read that article in TRE. But this is the 2nd time in a 3 days that I hear disparaging remarks about SGeans made by PRCs who have somehow benefited from our country. These pp dunno what is called 鄮갓ęęŗ?
Why do they go to another country and happily attack their host country for being this/that? what does it say about themselves as humans?
