Hi all, I’m new and hope to get some advice from you.


My son is in P6 and is taking PSLE this year. I wanted to sign him up for a creative writing class. Does anyone have any good recommendations to share? Has anyone send their children to Anne’s creative writing classes? I came across her name when I did a google search and wanted to know more before I commit. Thanks!!

where do you stay? if you stay in the northeast or east, you can PM me if you need, I can recommend my child’s tutor to you, she used to teach EMSC but seems like she specialises in CW nowadays. She has been teaching my child EMS for 5 years but focus a lot on CW, reading and vocabulary. If that is what you re looking for.

Thank q but East is too far. I stayed at choa chu kang, at west side.

Urgently need to find creative writing class for my son coz P6 liao. his CA 1 only get 25/40! Currently attending another creative writing but it seem that he learn nothing. Evey week just copying compo only! My son also said that will copying learn anything???

hi krisvan8, tsk tsk tsk copying composition work is the saddest way to learn anything i remember having to do this in my second language lessons back at school! being an expat mom here, after school-hopping a lot, i was pretty upset that my kids would have to go through the same thing because i've come to find this learn-by-the-book method most annoying! a few years back i found them a good tutor whom i find caters to their individual needs in language skills - if you're interested you can drop me a PM... (tried PM-ing you, i identify with what you feel! but my messaging system doesn't work???) P6 is a big year... i think all parents with kids taking That Big Exam can identify!!! :xedfingers:
