Yes, we did. She was in my old school and i placed her on waitlist in MCS for quite some time already. Finally the admin informed me last week that there's a place for her because one of the girls was transferred out.

I just received the pack of \"homework\" from Ms Nora.. and while reading through the forum, i finally understand the HW load the gals are facing....

tabomama, for some reason, the teachers here seem to be running at a fast and furious pace. I asked my friends whose kids are in various different schools, and they don't seem to have much homework! But on a positive note, the kids will be used to the pace as they progress upwards Btw, where do you live? Near MCS?

Good morning! Ya… there is really a lot of HW… esp for us since we are trying to catch up with the class’s progress.
No we live in Yishun, so its quite a distance, around 20-30 mins bus ride.

Just been advised by Ms Nora that all CCA slots are taken… so prob DD no need to travel early to school for the time being.

Dd's form teacher just emailed to inform there is gonna be another topical Maths test... this feels like there's more tests than when they are in past when they only have 1 big test for each semester.

Ms Nora seems to be really on the ball keeping parents of her students updated with what’s happening. I have not heard anything about any upcoming Maths Test.

By the way, our DDs are early in using Model templates. It is only Feb! I have not experienced this bullet train speed with students from other schools, not even those from some top schools!
