Censorship always exists at some level, I don’t think anyone would disagree with that, and I am certainly not in favour of free-for-all. The mods have the drawn line here, its their prerogative.

the funny irony on how Mod is handling this though - it took them so long to act, despite the warning signs that things were getting off topic and overboard, personal attacks starting to be more obvious and bolder, etcc.
They keep quiet and then WHAM ! Embargo.
much like how WP handle the YSL EMA thingy - no comments, gag order, then WHAM ! SACK YSL.

the aftermath for both cases ? Still will have people buay song how it was handled and expressed disappointment here and there, be it take too long, or be it too drastic, or whatever :evil: :evil:

I m not talking about a free-for-all.
I also hv my OB marker n no-go zone.
I didn't read d posts last nite, so I don't know wat actually transpired
but I do hv a sense of wat went on fr d posts dis morning dat precipitate d Mod's action.
Sure its d Mod's prerogative to act when d imaginary line is crossed.
A whole chunk of posts were removed fr, I think Feb 1 onwards.
As firefly38 said, thread ends end 'no head no tail'.
Why not other courses of action such as locking d thread, warning, suspension, or ban if behaviour persists?

Actually I had wanted to embargo the entire thread, but some requested to remove only the offensive ones and keep the relevant, which I am trying to do.


I need time to go through the posts, and only managed to do until 1Feb so far. More posts will be returned.

till there r new developments.
Then someone can start a new thread on d aftermath
