MOE should give P1 registration priority to SG kids?

So, you have the right to be selective about which country to make your home, but the foreigners don't? What conditions in your new home would you find that will hold you there? What if they told you your children had no choice in schools at all, that you take the leftovers?laughingcat:

Or are you speaking about yourself in a foreign land? That question was hypothetical. -
I am speaking on the ground that my child was granted a position in the foreign country school. Schools with deep history and are even more elistic than in SGP. How did we get in, in the first place? Based on entry level. Being PR, I need to pay alot high price as compared to the local PR here.
Well…our education policy sucks when comes to PR. As what you mentioned here do we all just buy in and keep quiet? As quote by you "The world is flat, may as well get used to it." Nope. Even though a certain % still think that the world is flat, people will try to prove that the world is round. -
Let’s face it this way…IMO…the SGP government very protective of our PR here. They bring babies mah…and that is very big deal to our government. They work in those jobs that paid miserably which Singaporean doesn’t want and that is very big deal to our government. But they forgotten that they don’t integrate with Singaporean and never had the intention to. Singapore is just a stepping stone. Singapore government also forgotten that for every 1 PR family unit, there came 2 (possibly +2) elderly. We become a very aging population.

How do you feel if you have to fight for a place with someone who just came to Singapore for 2-3years! Most of our husbands spent at least 2years NS and our children are Singaporeans, are these not enough to justify for a priority!

I’m based on the assumption that you are one of us, most likely you are not. Please make sure your 3 boys complete their NS before being forced to move out seeking greener pastures out there… somewhere… don’t know where… good luck! -

Ok, one more. This bogeyman about foreign students in P-school, this 'huge' competition that everyone is screaming about, what is the reality?
How many percent of our students in P-school are non-PR foreigners, recently arrived?
