People Search's marketing manager Eunice Chia-Lim, said: \"Usually, we will verify that the resume or CV is accurate in saying which degree the candidate did obtain. We will verify it by sighting or looking at the original degree. We really cannot guarantee that the degree is real, but if the employer has any doubts, what we will do is that we'd recommend a background check.\"
When contacted, MDIS said it is not aware that fake certificates from its school are being sold.
It added that it is currently doing checks and will report any findings to the Police.

Sign… they are really TALENTED!!! Able to do the certificate until like real. Thinking whether anyone used that "Certificate" to get an Employment pass from MOM.

Many already gotten PR.
And, I'm am not commenting based on hearsay on forums.
I can easily point to a few person who used fake documents and already gotten PR. Apparently.. ICA does not check all applications(?).
There is this place all the cert is fake one.. (I heard)
Believe or not is up to you.
Whether to whistle blow.. is another issue.. there is too many of them already.
If ICA do background checks for the applications from 1995 to 2005.. I believe (just my personal guess w/o basis), easily can get mebbe ~20% (?) or more of false declaration in the applications from a particular country. It's whether they want to only. It is not isolated few, definitely.
Many of the people whom I am aware of used fake educational certificates to apply PR.

I remember some years back, a PRC got a fake degree and was teaching in a secondary sch before she got caught.
I also believe a lot of them are here with fake degree, and many have got PR or citizenship now. -
I recall some one in my ex company escorted out by police. Apparently he got in using forged credentials. Anyone wants black mark can try, but there is an industry making good money in background checks.

I know of cases whereby employees lied about their past employment history cos it happened to one of my ex-colleagues. She was found out cos she lied to her new employer but so happened that somebody from our company knew somebody there and asked about her. :sick: :spank: This is what I know personally but I will not identify the person and will gladly remove the comment.. so fake also must have one
