DHS was granted full IP in late 2005, and it went full IP in 2006.

I can also say for Dunman High that number of students leaving for other JCs such as VJC after sec3 is reducing as the school stabilises.
There are quite a number but the number is also reducing. The number of the first batch IP graduaring was 100++, the second batch was 200++, the thrid batch was 362. You can see a clear trend that the number of students transfering out is reducing.
If I am not wrong, DHS 1st 2 cohorts are not 100% IP and hence the much smaller numbers. The 3rd cohort should be 100% IP. There are still students leaving for each cohort but numbers are reducing as you have pointed out.
Yes, as what Weihan had pointed out, the numbers are indeed reducing.
And yes, i too heard of gal 's frens thinking of transferring out in yr 4,
as some parents feel that DHS is still relatively new in their A lvl programme, compared to VJ or TJ.
But last yr, the P did mention that its results was comparable to NJC, and it took shorter yrs to obtain that. -

It will be harder for them to transfer to vjc once the cedar IP n vs IP students reach year3. Actually why would they want to transfer to vjc?
heard this from a dunman high student....vjc is academic+fun while dunman is still more academic, not so 'happening', what teenagers would say...when you are 16, you are attracted by other things...
But what i heard was mainly \" parents who wanna them to transfer\", but kids wanna to stay. -

in later teenage years, students want to seen as trendy, in, glamorous, chio, happening people -
Too much "distractions" could affect their studies hor.
Especially if they get involved in BGR… -
Anyway, A-level result will be out this coming Friday. We shall see how Dunman fares (as compared with other established top JCs)
