the same dunman high boy told me that the girls in vjc are more 'chio'; surprised that he said that when 65% (?) of each cohort in dunman are already girls...
he wanted to transfer too but in the end, he did not...
Hmm..., some classes do have more chio girls, when i see their photos in FB,
but overall not too bookworm look lah, quite a mixture.

Too much "distractions" could affect their studies hor.
Especially if they get involved in BGR… -
Anyway, A-level result will be out this coming Friday. We shall see how Dunman fares (as compared with other established top JCs)

Last time both my aunts who were just 1 year different in age, started to \"Pak-tor\" during their A-level years, until university. One pair of them even got govt scholarship, got married, then went together on scholarship to do masters and PhD and came back with 2 kids which they took care of during their studies. The other pair both became medical doctors and got scholarship to do their postgrad overseas. Very motivated couples, huh? BGR sure didn't affect them!

During my JC days, I've seen \"successful\" cases but I've also seen friends flunked their studies because of BGR.

Personally I would prefer students to start looking for \"the one\" when they enter uni, since they would be maturer by then and could handle relationship matters better. (PS. I met my now DH while in uni.. )

as parents, it is natural that they will get worried, especially if their children are daughters.. -
After 3 sons (all in their 20s), my advice to any girl is to wait till the boys have finished NS at least!!! In JCs, they are still em....\"boys\" lah. My sons will agree. Infact now as matured boys, all of them say studies and work come first.
PS Also met their daddy in the Uni. Now I'm encouraging them to date and not to wait till all the good girls are taken! -
Hi everyone, I’ve 2 questions on 3rd language…
Q1. If my DD decides to continue with her 3rd language all the way, will her final year 3rd language result affect her GPA?
Q2. If my DD decides to drop the subject halfway, will her 3rd language result still be displayed in year end results slip?
