i get very frustrated when my lipstick breaks away from the holder (especially when it still has a long way to go). any way to prevent this from happening? i didnt drop my lipstick and it was firmly attached to the holder when i used it for the first 10/20 times.

how do i flatten the lipstick tip? if it remain pointed at the tip, the tip would break off midway when used.

This has never happened to me.

Could it be that you have unwind the lipstick all the way to the bottom?

I think to flatten the tip, you need to use a lip brush.

first few lipsticks yes, all the way down. lessons learnt but problem still there.

tried lip brush but find it troublesome. πŸ˜‰

so now just slap on some lip gloss/sticks that comes with a brush like mascara.

Shu uemura lipsticks doesn't work for me... Keep reapplying and they just 'slide off' after a while.
I carry the Stila lip glaze with me, the brush provided is handy as a lipbrush when I use other lipsticks.. πŸ˜„

Estee is good. Always got free ones from the gift set when you buy above a certain amount.

I also like the lip gloss from Beauty Credit (Korean).

:hi5: I used to use the crystal range from Estee for many many years...

these days, if I ever use lipsticks (getting too lazy...), it's Shiseido usually.
