yes, precisely....Singapore is so small yet it takes so much to just travel from one place to another. True, we love Simei. it is so convenient, clean and made a lot of aunty friends. Keroppi, have you stayed in Simei before? did you move too? Musings, so where is your kid studying now? we still hv not decided...since both housing and car are ridiculously expensive. hmm...never thought about CCAs. how many times a week would that be and what time do they usually end? Now that I think back, I did see a FMPS school bus ard my area but that was very early in the morning ard 6am when i had to go to work. I can't imagine pulling my kid up at 5am. I won't be able to take it. If we decided not to move, hoping to get into st anthony canossian.

Just curious, anyone join as church member and the kid gets into FMPS.

Was it tough & still need balloting under phase 2b. Am methodist church member but live more than 2km away.

Also, if get in the a primary school, when is the best time to register for after school care? As i read the thread someone mentioned she missed the registration.

besides ksks3mum, i am not a christina and i went to ballot by luck...
if you stay more than 1KM, i guess the chances are low, i stayed <1KM

As for afterschool care, i missed Q for that Aldersgate, fortunately stay with MIL to take care of kid after school but transport arrange school bus $80 per month.

I think the registration for Aldersgate will open in April. Better to call them to confirm the dates.
