Just curious, anyone join as church member and the kid gets into FMPS.
Was it tough & still need balloting under phase 2b. Am methodist church member but live more than 2km away.
Also, if get in the a primary school, when is the best time to register for after school care? As i read the thread someone mentioned she missed the registration. -
Hi pennytnp, my girl is Kelly...
besides ksks3mum, i am not a christina and i went to ballot by luck...
if you stay more than 1KM, i guess the chances are low, i stayed <1KM
As for afterschool care, i missed Q for that Aldersgate, fortunately stay with MIL to take care of kid after school but transport arrange school bus $80 per month. -
I think the registration for Aldersgate will open in April. Better to call them to confirm the dates.

Anyone has girls in dancing Eca? My daughter like dancing, can start eca earlier?

Ask yr girl to look out for the teacher-in-charge when they go to every classroom to ask the kids if they're interested in Chinese dance. There will be an audition. :rahrah:

Dear Parents,
need your advice. My hubby studied in FMPS and we are considering sending our daughter there. However, we stay in Simei and moving to Dover now does not really seem like a gd idea considering the high prices of HDB flats ard the area. Does anyone have any idea if the school provides sch bus service from east to west? still considering cos we cant imagine dragging our kid up early in the morn just for the school bus. would be tough on her. it would be weird if we are in phase 2A but decided not to utilise the opportunity to go FMPS rite? troubled troubled...
hi hippoger,
You may want to consider another primary school nearer home. FMSP is just an average school, is it worth all the effort just to enroll in FMSP? Unless you want christian based school and the affiliation :).
