Thanks ice and reddichan. Since I stay more to the south, I not sure where to go and compare.i am also waiting for a promotion for new piano, but anyone with a mint condition exam grade piano to go will be good. Gosh I am tone deaf. Seem like buying new is the only way out

Based on your budget and preference, why don’t you take a look at Hailun HL125 at Pianomasters? It is distinctly different from most other Chinese manufactured ones. Plus there’s a 5-year buy back policy. New piano, great sound, even better price, IMHO.

I was thinking of sinking a reasonably amount money for a good sounding piano. Maybe a 2nd hand u3 and as for HO, err frankly I prefer jap made. Just like cars

Me curious... Do u know how much (roughly) does a 2nd hand U3 cost? N also the px is for agak how old piano? -

I got a second hand U3 (26years old) from piano gallery last year at 4.5K. So far so good, no complain.

The yen is high now so do expect to pay a bit more for 2ndhand Jap pianos as they are sourced from Japan

Hi All - Greetings!
I have taken delivery of my new Shigeru Kawai recently and hence we would need to sell away our meticulously cared for Kawai K8 that we bought new 3+ years ago to a good family.
So here’s the details:-
Model - Kawai K8 (132cm)
Colour - Polished Ebony
Serial# - 287xxxx
Age - 3+ years, bought brand new from RP Singapore.
- religiously tuned every six months by RP. Last tuning done this november 2011
- Heater is turned on since day 1 and a disposable dehumidifier is placed within cabinet and changed every 2 months.
