Mine also go alot of blanks. But he say he dunno how to do. That’s why left blank.

Suddenly feel very helpless. Must buy more assessment for him to do already.

Worse thing is, he lazy to read. Gosh. Dunno how.

Is it his maths or English that he's having problem with?
Mine both also not good. English cannot read, maths sums don't read questions. Q ask for greatest to smallest he didn't read, write smallest to biggest. Ask him tick the greatest no of objects in the box; instead he wrote the number of object in the box instead of tick... Super careless. As it is he is studying all day alr. Don't really want to start him on assessments... 😞 they're only pri 1...

              Mine Also!!!

Did exactly all the same as your son! Plus, ask him to write in words, he wrote number.

              Number patterns left blank!?!?

Number bonds at the end, given 2 and 7 make 9, he just need to copy. But he gave an alternative answer and wrote 5 and 4 make 9 in the boxes.

His English is worse. Cause the cloze passage all dun wanna read. Actually is everything dun wanna read.

              bang head

Ya! I guess I can chill a little. Hoping that he can get used to taking his work more seriously.

If not I think it will be very bad. Cause they will start the formal assessment in Term 2. Which is another 2-3 weeks time.
                  Scary!!!

                    Hey Wenthena,

Does your son have to bring the Art Bag to school every Wednesday?
Would you know which colouring material to bring? Or just bring everything?

                      Hi Eileenp,

Yes, he brings artbag every wednesday… though i think no need. Cos the drawing block is kept in school… so technically, those colouring stuff like water colour, oil pastels, palette, etc can squeeze into the school bag.

T2 got formal assessment? oh my… I not even aware…

Ya lor. They gonna start assessing from T2. Scary.

My son still living in dreamland.

I was waiting for list of things to bring for Art. So I thought school providing.
So, my son haven’t been bring art things to school leh.
So I was curious and asked what he did for art this week and he said he just drew on the whiteboard. Cause he didn’t bring anything.
Then I ask, every art lesson u play with ur whiteboard? Then he said Yes!

I was shocked leh! Anyway, partly my fault lah. Should have asked him earlier or just make him bring the whole art bag with everything inside.
But I think the art teacher should also write in his handbook to let me know he has to bring these things to school right?
Especially when he hasn’t been bringing anything every wed.
I feel so guilty towards my son leh. Sitting there for one hour not doing any artwork.
