any parent here done PV at Shuqun Primary School? Can share experience? Or they dun except PV? I am staying 1-1.5km.

I was a PV at Shuqun Primary School and have just completed my 40hrs during June holiday.

They do accept PV though its not alot. Last year my batch, only aroud 8-10 PV.

My daughter will be studying at SQ come 2010.

Any parents know if they do any assessment of the child in order to allocate class to them ?

My kid will be P1 at SQ 2010 as well. Has been told by SQ, kids will need to sit for a short test to determine the class to be enrolled on 14/11/09.

Oh really?? That’s good to hear cos I was told that Rulang doesn’t have such assessment till P3 and the children will only be allocate to the class according to their grades from P2 exams.

My son is in 1B3 now, fyi the school will conduct the test during orientation and the school will allocate a class based on child performance & test result.

All the good acedemic class ended with numeric no:3 eg: 1B3, 1C3/1A3.

Shuqun become more better in academic, every week will distribute worksheet eg: English, Math worksheet to the student. And the form teacher was quiet professional and freindly too. Parent can communicate via phone and email to their teacher.

I am very happy to see my son have a happy and friendly school environment at SQ.

Thks for sharing info. Any ideas what kind of the test to be conducted during orientation? English/Maths test?

Is your son currently attending any student care centre nearby SQ? Or any recommendation of reliable student care centre around that area?
