      zac's mum:
Hi all, kiasu mum here. Been trying to call the office this week but no one answering the phone! First week of school so busy meh?

Am just trying to find out the regn system for Barker. Is it true it is by Q system on a specific date? Sometime in April?? I.e. cannot put on waiting list?

No such info on the website. Only got the regn form...
Based on the school's 2012 schedule, reg. date for 2013 intake is 2-5 April 2012. You may contact the school office to confirm the dates. Hope this helps. 😄

Anyone has any feedback on BRMCK Montessori Program? Thinking to sign my kid but would like to hear from any parent which has kids currently in the program.

If anyone is considering BRMCK Kindergarden, I would say GO FOR IT!

Agree with other mummies here, BRMCK has a WONDERFUL Principal called Miss Leong. She really cares for her students from her heart.

All the teachers in BRMCK also must have a Diploma in early childhood, which means, they are actually qualified to be a principal too.

My 2 Kids are from BRMCK Kindergarden and I would say I have NO COMPLAINTS, only problem is the parking problem, however can be solved if you are willing to park at the roadside and walk 2 mins. Not any issue. Did that for many years and never got fined etc.

Brmck is closed for 2 weeks starting from 8 feb due to high no. of students having HFMD. I was just wondering a few days ago why so many students have HFMD and then I recv the mssg about the school closure yesterday. Hope they will do whatever necessary to ‘cleanse’ the school.

                Hi Parents,

I’m a happy parent since sending my child to BRMCK early this year. Whilst it is more local than the past international environment, her learnings and progress here always surprise me.

Besides the regular kindy programme, we also Sign up for Montessori and we saw progress in child’s motor skills, language capability and confidence. Child whilst not as close to the teachers as in the past childcare as they tend to be stern, which we are totally ok with it. We believe the need to discipline kid early. Have observed the teachers, they are very firm and caring, which our child needs.

Even the traffic to school and parking amazes us. It isn’t as bad as what we expect. We tend to drop her couple of minutes before 8.30am. traffic whilst heavy is still a breeze when we drove from Eng Neo through Dunern Road. Dropping off is quick every morning and we get to drive off within 2-3 mins.

Hope that this helps parents who are thinking to put your child here.

To add, we are glad that they closed the centre even though they have not met the MCYS set quota for HFMD. Safer.

my son now was with BRMCK.... i like it over all... teacher are very caring to each kid and very helpful for 1st time mummy.... and they will never lay their hand on your kid...all they do is to make them sit in a \"thinking chair\" that place in a conner.... haha!

i like the way they teach my son... he had become a better person after going to BRMCK.... just for a term now.... my son started to ask by saying \"please\"....will also say thank you....or excuse me if you block his way! 🙂 school fee is $1260 per term.... cheer!

I’ll be sending my 3rd child to BRMCK, anything to say about the school? 2 thumbs up!!!

In regards to the school programs. If possible, during their N1 to N2 send them to the Montessori class (preferably conducted by Ms Chong and Ms Jessie) on top of their main stream class. Your kid will get the chance to mix around with (inter-level) children from N1-K2, this will enhance their social skill, learning to interact with different age groups.

And when they’re in K1-K2 (minimum K1 to be eligible), sign them up for the Apple Pie Chinese program. It’s a 5 days a week daily program, lessons was taught comprehensively in depth and surprisingly interesting enough to excite the kids to learn. In a couple of months, be surprised how well your child will be able to interact with you in mandarin!

                      God Bless!

(p.s. BRMCK principal Ms Leong is a song bird, she can really sing well!)

May I know the fee for the Montessori program offered in BRMCK?

Or is there a list of fees for all their enrichment programs?
                        Thank you!
