I am in the same position as you, with the same consideration also. My former school is also in the top ranking but is abt 7+km from my home.
I have checked with another school that is <1km from my house on the balloting history for <1km. It's less than 50% chance of getting the place in. Can't take the stress of being unable to ballot in. Hence, most probably we will let DS1 go to my former school. But until now, am still uncomfortable abt the distance travelled. Once the school go for single session next year or latest 2014, the school bus will be coming to fetch at 5.55am. OMG.
I have the same issue as you two. I got to opt for my Pri Sch in order to secure a seat. And now, in order to let my gal sleep more, we got to get a car so that I can transport her up and down. My Pri Sch is abt 11km away from my place. -
Hi all
my son is going to P1 next yr too and I want to register him under Shuqun primary school. I was a former student of Seh Chuan High School (old name of Shuqun) and wonder can I use my report book (green color) to register him under P2A(2)? I have called the school but the staff said don’t know must wait till registration start then have details. Can anyone advice? Thanks! -

Yes, you can use your report book to apply under P2A2. My hubby was an old boy too and he used his green report book to register my boy at Shuqun last year. -

May, at least you still can transport your gal. I am FTWM, so really have to depend on the school bus. I have check with the bus uncle, if morning session, 5.55am will reach my place. Afternoon session at 11.20am.. The timing for his meals is not good. There's really no other option out since can't secure a seat with 100% confidence in the \"not bad\" nearby school.snowbee88:

Snowbee,
Not good. I am FTWM also. I will have to drive her there and rush to work. But luckily my work place is 3-4 bus stops away. -

Hi,
if I need to register my kid this year for Pri 1, my new place T.O.P. officially is 2015 but developer told me we can shift in end of next year, can the school accept? What document can I show in order to register for 2C under this situation?
