mashy - Yes, we would report to police if the school does not look into the bullying case. In this manner, the school can help to intervene the case before it gets worse. I am sure jail term is not in mind, not even a warning letter. It is the entire procedure, with verbal counseling that will help the bullying child aware of his/her consequences.

Send my son to stadium this morning. Glad to know that P1 and P2 children are seated together in their classes, unlike the other classes where the students sit according to the house color. I was worry about bullying since the entire school gets together in today’s event.

Hi, i know this thread is not very active as of late January, but i would like to share my experiences in Anderson Primary. I graduated before Mr Martin Tan left. My 6 years in Anderson was the best time of my life. I miss it so dearly now. Friendships forged during that 6 years will be for life. In Anderson, they take care of everything and address discipline problems during assembly, which some schools that i know of do not. The teachers there are extremely caring and dedicated. I would like to express my gratitude to Mrs Sharon Yeo. She was so motherly, taking care of us as though we were her own kids. She nagged at the boys for playing in the sun, nagged at us to drink more water and most importantly, she taught us well, both in values, character and academics. I hope your children will have a chance to be taught by her in the later part of their primary school life. I was very lucky to be able to take my PSLE in the air-con school hall. It was a pleasant enviroment as students in other levels' noise could hardly be heard. It was very cooling, as compared to some schools whose students take their PSLE in their classrooms. I loved the IMAS2 programme as it gave me many opportunities that i would not otherwise have. I hope the children of the parents in this thread will have a great time in Anderson and one day look back and think of the wonderful teachers and enviroment. πŸ˜„

thanks for sharing. However, i think the school facility needs to upgrade by now. I was rather disappointed when i had the parents meeting. The class room etc rather run down already.
