        Dear all

Kindly keep the discussions in this thread on SHHK primary schools only. This thread is not about SHHK and its membership.

        🙂

Hi, may I know if 3yrs is sufficient to register for Tao Nan? And what kind of contributions are necessary? I have to register DS in 2014, and hoping to get some tips to facilitate the registration process, hopefully! :xedfingers: '

Also, any unsuccessful Tao Nan mummies out there, can share if I do go through phase 2B and 2C but unsuccessful for all, which likely school will MOE post DS to? We stay opposite marine parade.

:imcool: :imcool: Hi, I am staying within 1 km to Nan Chiau Primary, with the new priority ruling for S'pore citizens, I am not sure if I should try to go for this ever popular school or just keep it simple and go to my hubby old boys schools, any comments or advices ?

If you are unsuccessful during phase 2B and 2C, you can still pick from the list of available schools in phase 2CS list. If you are still unsuccessful, then MOE will help to post ur child with consideration of your home distance.

usual practice is to apply to old school under 2A1/2. Then monitor and decide on the last day of registration for Phase 2C. if you are under 2B, I think chances will be very high. else, I think still the same (aka nail biting). Come to the end, it's whether you want to take the risk

For those who are looking at Chongfu. Registration form can be downloaded at the school website.

“Briefing for Prospective Parents” is a great opportunity for you to understand our school’s culture, vision and mission.
As our school is undergoing upgrading, we do not have parking space available. Please park at the nearby HDB car park if you drive. We apologise that young children will not be allowed for the session.

                        one nagging questions :

do they teach the kids to speak hokkien in those schools ?

is a pity if they don’t
