Hmm... Thinking back, if our parents leave behind wealth for us, we call inheritance, if they leave the bad ones, we call genes.... Haha...

Anyway, I found some articles about some eye exercises to improve vision. Check it out at

      http://www.eyesightimprovingexercises.com

I may be going to give my kids a try. Hope it can at least slow down my daughter's myopia. Hers is 600 degree for each eyes ...

        Dear parents,

Would appreciate if there is any more feedback. We are hoping that our survey can also prod the MOH, MOE to work hand-in-hand so that it’ll ensure our next generation will benefit if measures are taken at a national level, like in schools.

One suggestion I have is to equip all teachers with knowledge of eye relaxation exercises so the children can be taught. Then they can have a min or 2 to do it in class before the start of a period.

Any other input is very much appreciated. Like the lighting etc?

We want to know if there are any ways that have not been explored which can prevent myopia.

Maybe parents whose children are not \"four-eyed\" can share some tips here? What are the things that you have done? I have heard of children who read alot in dim light even, or others who are always glued to the computer having perfect vision. :? :scratchhead:

I believe I'm one of those glued-to-the-computer type of children who has no myopia XD

I can play the computer for 10 hours in one sitting, well, if my parents don't notice me. (I tried before XD)

          :yikes:

Three cheers for HOMEWORK being the main reason for myopic children! LOL 😉

Should suggest less homwork for myopic children but increase it for non-myopic ones like Ichigokun as such children ,even when playing 10 hrs of computer games don't end up myopic.  🦆

Main culprit is MSG, which has been linked to retina degeneration (see http://www.truthinlabeling.org/NewScientist-Simple-Review-2-ByAD.html and http://msgtruth.org/eyesight.htm). Also too many small screens (smart phone, tablets, etc) and too much time indoors.
