Since their mothers gave each of them an equal amount of money, the difference in amount of money between Wendy and Mary stayed the same at (230-38) which was 192.

Wendy ------ 4 units

Mary ------ 1 unit
3 units ------ 192

1 unit ------ 64
64 – 38 ------ 26

Their mother gave each of them $26.
