Good Morning Janet,

:hi5: Yes, good thing is that the Science guide books / assessment books can be kept and re-cycled to be used πŸ˜‰

Probably towards last quarter of this year, I will need your advise on the upper block Science books as DD1 will be P5 next year πŸ˜“
Yes, with science, there is no worry about too many...bcos every topic needs to be revised all the time. P5/6 cannot forget what diversity is or even cycles. As for guide/assessment books, upp block is a follow up from lower block. So when you see discount for MCQ just education and teachers' circle (OE), you can get them. I am waiting too.
Hi ladies,

I was at popular expo earlier. Wanted to get Just Education MCQ assessment, but didn't see it. Starting my 'collection' for p3 science
It was so crowded at expo just now, and today is only Friday. Dare not imagine the crowd this weekend.

Is it 20% off like december bookfest? What about the collection of English assessment books? Is it good? Thanks

Discount is better in Dec. More titles are avail...even brand new ones. Don't bother to visit expo. Not every publisher participated. Popular Expo only takes half a hall compared to a full scale in suntec.
Thank you for your advice. I decided not to go to expo. Just finish the books whatever I currently have.

I bought a set of casco science process skills (Lower block) at $6.50 each, down from $8.50. Alamak :stupid: when I reached home, I realized I bought it earlier. So quickly went to popular today to do an exchange.

Don't bother to go down to popular expo...very crowded and range is incomplete. There is some kids fair going on as well.

I did this for one of the Math books and did not realize for 2-3 weeks. Then I pass it to my friend for free (of course, without telling my DH).

Hi Mommies,

Don't worry, I had the same experience too...
ha ha ha..looks like all we kiasu mummies have suffered the same at one point of time..

In the beginning of this year, I bought one of the maths heuristics books and eagerly came home.. :boogie:
but later found that I had already bought it the previous year :yikes:
lucky found an office colleague whose daughter is also in the same level as my DD.
managed to pass the book to her..phew..lucky break there..
so now, before I go to popular..always have a peek at the pile of assessment books at home.. 🀷 never know when I will buy the book already at home

We will always suffer this 'buying duplicate' thing. Fortunately I detected early, so minimized my loss by exchanging and topping up a little. Now I take a pic of the assessment books on my shelf and store inside my hp. Hopefully I don't make the same mistake again :xedfingers:

Strangely I do not fancy casco. :?

Same story for me last week, only realised we already have the same one when DS commented the comprehension passage is similar. Same author but assessment book cover different.. .. :slapshead:

same here,My son's school recommend a book for compo then I searched in the popular website,I couldn't remember cos the cover different. Then after I bought I found I have already but different cover page. Now he use one book at school one book at home. :moneyflies:
After that, If I want to buy, I have doubt, I have already or not.Ending with not buy and think go back and check and double confirm before buy.
