Just heard that ds got his ezlink card today. How much is sec sch students’ concession like? Like when using the primary sch concession pass, he needs only to pay about $1.00 for a two way trip to and from sch. So per trip maybe is 55 cents regardless of journey. So how about the sec sch?

DS told me that ALL his teachers said that i do not need to meet any of them. Thot teachers should meet all parents, at least for the frist meeting, right? Can I attend even if the teachers told my DS that I need not attend?

I think should be able to...I did not receive letters from teachers but I am thinking whether I should apply to attend... normally what do u discuss with the teachers?

                      ok, thanks!

Actually ds said parents teachers meeting is optional. but his Chinese teacher wants to see me. When I heard that, I was like 'uh oh' must be his bad grades. Because ds chinese is all along not strong. Didn't take HMT in pri sch and now jumped straight into HMT. So far, the tests he took like just passed or fail by 1 mark kind of thing. He is among the 10 who needs Chinese remedial.

How to improve ah? In pri sch it's easy to do well coz all tested within the text - so he still can get an A for PSLE eventhough his chinese is poor. As long as he studies his text. But now, I heard 30% from text 70% is 'ke wai'. So how to study? Lang is so wide. Sorry, I'm ratttling on and on...

are u going to the meeting?
