Child abduction at AMK Hub
-
From today's ST report...
\"Police did not reveal the age of the boy. But yesterday, they sent out a statement saying they were investigating the incident.
'We want to take this opportunity to urge the public not to circulate unsubstantiated information as this may cause unnecessary alarm.' they said\"

Recently we went to Resort World Sentosa. One woman was talking friendly with my DD.She was not talking in English. After that we moved away and I remind them don't go away, people bring u out of sg .My DH asked it happened in SG?I said anything happen in Singapore.I heard many people lost their kids in other countries when they went for holidays.
need to be very alert when u were in tourist places. -
Oh gosh, around my area there are a lot of PRC workers. I always hate the sight of them ever since the 2 boys were abducted. Be extra careful.
-
This is scaring the shit out of me. I seriously hope they have CCTV and bring that china couple back for investigation. Singapore is not safe anymore with so many FTs around.

deminc, I heard this from my sister who's friend was at HK disneyland when the incident happened.Wcw, is this for real?? How old is the child now and when did you see him?
Concern2, did you hear this from a reliable source?
You guys are seriously freaking me out!! My son doesn't look local and I always get comments about him AND he likes to wander off. I already freaked out last year when he lost a wallet and six months later I received a call about his lost wallet. When I 'claimed' it, I realize it wasn't his, but an adult who has kept his lost (and cancelled) ezlink card bearing his photo. I turned it over to the police but it was really unsettling. -
Daddy
to some, this may be an isolated case but we won't and we can't take chances especially if our kids are involved. Don't forget the PRC couple are still out there... :scared:

As I started looking up reports about child abduction, there are indeed many cases that turn out to be hoax, and in the case of HK, they became issues of discrimination against PRCs. However, I agree with pinky that it it is more of precautionary reasons that we be more vigilant.

the mother should have stopped the china couple, alert the mall security and police immediately... they could be part of the human trafficking syndicate!!! now they could be out there looking for the next target.... very scary.... :nailbite:

They can run the security camera to let the mother identify the woman and 2men.
So worrying!
