Next time (touch wood) must SHOUT and GRAB the suspect... And get help from surrounding SGreans (if u can find)...
No reason for any stranger to lead a child away... Even if the child was lost, common sense will be to stay with the child at the same spot.

During our Gathering of Some Mums Last Weekend,
We happen to talk about Tis Issue of Child Abduction.
One Mummy Related the Experience of her Colleague who went to HK Disney for Holiday with her hb and 2 kids, aged 8 and 10. (a Boy and a Gal)
She’s buying some food over the counter, with both her kids beside her. She Paid the Cashier, turn around, and Both her Kids were Missing! Could not see them around the Area at ALL.
She Immediately Reported to the Disney Security, and her hb ran ALL the Way to the Main Entrance to Search for their Children.
Disney Security Sealed Off ALL Entrance. And They Search the Whole Park, Cannot Locate them for hours.
Finally, they R Found hours later. Abundant, Sleeping on a Bench in a Secluded Area.
Clothes Changed, Boy dressed as Gal, Gal’s Hair Shaved Off.
The Parents Admitted that they Would Not have Recognised their own children in tis getup.
It was a Very Lucky Escape for them, since with their swift action, the Abductors R Forced to Abundant their Attempt.
Unfortunately these ppl R not caught.
So they R cautioning all their frens who R going overseas, esp to HK Disney, to Nvr let their kids off their sight. -
Next time I teach my kid to shout if somebody other than a policeman with ID, offers things like candy or offers to bring somewhere else.

Think I need to input something here, I was at Harbour front MRT station, on my way walking towards the exit to Vivocity last Friday morning bringing my children to Sentosa beach. Our family did not walk together, some in front, some at the back. I happened to walk in front of the rest with a haversack that needs to be pull along.
Then a very fashionable young lady approached me wearing sunglasses, the first question she asked me is whether I know how to speak Chinese. I paused for a while as I had some incidents whereby people called my hand phone or house phone number asking similar question in those mainland China accent whether I can speak Chinese. So I just don’t answer her back and start to walk away.
As I looked back while walking away, saw her on handphone talking to someone. Face facing another side, like don’t dare to look back at me.
Many thoughts came to my mind.
1. What was she trying to do? Trick me into something or target my children?
2. Why she don’t get help from the control station whereby there is station controller there who is just within some distance?
3. Why wear sunglasses inside the station? So that people cannot recognise her?
Yes, do be careful. Think these people are targeting Singapore now, move on from Hong Kong. I already heard of one case from Hong Kong is that the mother was with her child in Game Arcade and saw some people talking to her child who was about 8 years old. The mother quickly shouted at these people and they walked quickly away. These people are heartless. -
I don’t think my kids like the kid leash. So am looking at child locator and considering if it will be effective
