I was at the Robinsons sale at Expo yesterday and saw Deuter school bags there. Price is $69 to ? (sorry, forgot liao). They have S and M size. Good for lower primary kids. No L size though.

Jennifer:
Most of them have individual slots for holding pencils and a separate small area for holding erasers. These slots are made of plastic, dun seem to be very durable.
Just remember sth abt these pre-defined pencil slots. The dimension is for the normal thin round pencil. If the child is using those triangular fatter ones, the fit might not be good. Might as well get the basic model. -

Jennifer:
M is already very heavy if fully filled. Do u really need L?kuzco:

what was the model you see for the Deuter bag at Robinson Expo? Is it the Scholar S Act or the Genius Act?

What's the diff btw both? Which is better? -
Jennifer:
Will you consider getting laptop haversack for your child???? My P2 and P1 are using Deuter at this moment. But I thot that when they move to upper primary, I will switch them to laptop haversack bag. Reason being that it the bag is also ergnomic and it is definitely lighter than those \"schools\" ergonomic bags. Price wise is dependent on brand. I suppose for upper pri kids (esp for bigger build ones), those laptop bag size will be fine for them to manage.

The one I saw is Scholar S Act. I checked my boy's bag and his is Genius. I don't see much difference in both bags except probably side pockets...etsbaby:
