Good day parents. My DS1 trying to fake sick this morning as he does not want to go to school. Haiz...

beauty79, did you manage to find out the reason y ur DS1 din wan to go sch? There might b a reason for him to do tat.. but guess u would haf explained to him that it is not right.. :hugs:

Tq for your concern. Guess it's the school reopening blues. Managed to grab the teacher to address my concern that DS1 might misbehave cos he's reluctant to go to school. Teacher feedbacked that she's very surprised to hear that as my son very 'enthu' in class. 🤷

Nope, not going let DS take the booster shot till he’s in P1. Same for bb. I’m delaying the MMR for her till she’s 2 yos or 3 yos.

My DD1, I will let her take the booster shot during the Jun hols.

              micollh,

When I brought my baby for her 6-in-1 jab, the PD reminded me to bring DD1 and DS2 for their MMR booster. DS1 already has his jab last month during the Pri 1 health check. I am hesitant to bring DD1 and DS2. At age 5 and 3, I think they will freak out during the jab so I might just leave it and wait till they go to Pri sch. PD did warn that there has been an increase of ppl down with the virus last year.

SAHM_TAN, first jab taken for both… booster has not, as the initial schedule is at age 7. now they bring forward due to the statistic revealed that many are getting the virus before the booster … i tot u r worried abt the rumour abt MMR link to some problem…

Hi micollh, so you know too about the possible link. Though not proven, I will still delay the booster for older kids and for bb maybe till 2 yos. for her first shot

PD din tell me if those are kids or adults. He just mentioned that the number has increased last year and advised me to bring my kids earlier for booster jabs.
