Need advice…
Am registering my boy and by right shd be able to get in Phase 2A since hubby is an old boy of yuneng primary. However i am keen to register him in temasek primary simply becos my pil stay just 2 blocks away and he will be cared by them after/before school
Qn: Should I risk my chance at phase 2A and go ahead and ballot for phase 2C with temasek primary? I am worried if later never get, then i miss my chance at going back to yu neng?
Please advise. TIA -
you register safely in your alma mater first, 2A. Ensure yr son has a school to hang onto first.
under 2C new rule -
competition amongst SCs going to be very fierce & intense.
SCs from all over SG (North, South, East, West) direction can have a shot at Yu Neng, if parents are interested.

phtthp: Thanks for your reply.
If i get in phase 2A, how do i go about switching to temasek later on?
The school quite popular rite? -

During P2C, withdraw your application from Yuneng and then proceed to apply with Temasek.phtthp: Thanks for your reply.

Since she withdrawn from yuneng, if she is not successful with TP, wouldn't she lost the yuneng place as well?

I guess there is no \"safe\" plan.. if she really wanted to get into TP, there is always a risk. -

For Temasek Primary, there were some years where P2C <1km no need to ballot.Need advice...

Now that SC have priority over PRs, the odds are quite good if <1km.
Blk 46~50 enbloc and many residents left. Now these are mostly rented to PRs and S Pass holders. Plus a big part of the area ard TP is not very populated with few HDBs..
Further up north, these HDBs are within 1km of Red Swastika and yu neng, and these pple may prefer the other 2 primary schools.
So, for <1km, chances is pretty good, but Not w/o risk.
However, do take note that, if you're using caregivers address, even if they stay within 1km, you may be placed at the 1~2km group.. I'm not too sure about this, maybe you can check this up..
So.. balloting may be inevitable.... -

Yes, if she withdraws from Yuneng and ends up unsuccessfully with Temasek, she will not be able to go back to Yuneng and ask to reinstate her priority there.Since she withdrawn from yuneng, if she is not successful with TP, wouldn't she lost the yuneng place as well?

So, yes, there is risk involved. -
