DS1 applied last month, he said must get at least 1 teacher recommendation to be eligible. Fill in application form which includes a question that if you are a researcher, what will you research on & why.
About the enrolment into Einstein + Club. There was an application last month.Coddington:
Hi \"leexue_dwx\",
He got Gold in NMOS, and was invited into Einstein Club at Pri 5.
Now in Yr 1 he is Einstein+ member.
Any one any idea of past experience? what's the criteria for new members (other than those ex-members from einstein club) ? -

From P4 to P5 , training for NMOS, SMOPS, SMO Junior 1, SMO Junior 2(first two modular. Now training in school only. Yes, he will represent his school for RIPMWC and SMOPS.
How does he find RIPMWC ? Is he taking it for the 1st time ? I bet not the 1st time right ? Does the school prepare them for it ? This Friday is the test, my DS2 is taking it but it seems like no training for them at all. DS1 told me the standard is higher than SMOPS, really wonder how DS2 who in P4 now going to take it without any preparation ...
Did you DS take the Acceleration test upon his admission ?dagong99:
Hi \"leexue_dwx\",
Is your ds representing his school in all these OM competitions?
Wish your ds all the best luck & success!!

Hello! I'm currently in sec2, and i am condsidering to try for NUSH year3 intake. But there are some things I'm not sure about, please enlighten me!
firstly, I'm wondering about the school hours. What time does school in NUSH usually end? And Im not sure if I fit the criteria. What kinds of awards are good for the application? For example, math Olympiad, if you get, for example, a bronze, is it considered \"bad\" for NUSH standard? Help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi "Houddington",
Which Sec school are you studying now?
How is your Math & Physics?
What is your AMC 8, 10, 12;& SMO results?
You can try asking them abt your eligiblity at the OpenHouse
on 31st Mar.
What is your ambition of coming to NUSH? -

I chose this sec school because it’s near my house, and also cuz of affiliation yup. Its not exactly "branded" like the top schools and it focuses on the arts.
Let’s say… I’m in an accelerated class for math and science, even in those classes I’m usually the top.
I don’t know what the numbers stand for, sorry but I’ve taken part in AMC and got a distinction, top 8%. And also and honorable mention(after bronze) for SMO(i don’t have training, unfortunately).
Ive liked math and science for many years and want to go to NUSH mainly cuz of their syllabus and "emphasis" on these subjects.
