Very easy. She goes home. Gets a new passport under a different name. Comes back as a new maid. Work permit will NOT be same number as before. Can't give her old number to a new maid mah.
The fingerprints are just on their database. But clearly they do not do a check of each incoming maid's prints against the database.

I was q shocked when i saw Smurfkitty posted this maid photo here in this forum. To verify my doubts, i sent her a private sms to confirm if the maid is hunchbacked and true enough...it's her! The same old maid with different name. I didnt expect this agency to recycle this maid and it was after she left then i discovered via the MOM maid history check that I was actually her 4th employer!! The agency told me she is a fresh maid!!

i sent MOM an email 3 yrs back then to blacklist her cuz she smoked in my hse & stole our money. Like what smurfkitty mentioned, she stole my kid's milk to drink and stir relationship btw me & in law etc....Looks like MOM didn't do their check well despite the biometric measures that they are using now. I have sent MOM an email to get an explanation on this and they have nt reply since then....

I hope those who read this forum, beware of this agency who cheated our money...same issue as Smurfykitty...Steven didnt provide a replacement maid months after months.

Did you lodge a police report on your maid? I think MOM will not blacklist a maid unless a police report is lodged.

Despite that MOM is at fault for not being able to identify her via biometric measures and allowing her to slip in again under a different name. The maid agency is at fault too.

Probably for the same reasons why NRIC people have our thumb prints. I think it's just in case of crimes perpetrated by/ on them. Then may need the prints for identification.
It's probably too troublesome and costly if they run a match of the prints of every maid coming in.

it would be good if ngval and smurfkitty could band together and make a police report against this agency. both of them have a case against the agency and the owner and not the rest of us.

employment agency is getting away scot free.

It is indeed scary how the agent can do such things to employers for the sake of money.

I really wish that we Singaporean can rely less on foreign domestic helpers, then the demand for these Indo (and Filippino) will reduce. I feel that they (esp the Indo) are getting more and more high handed that they have lots of ridiculous demands, eg the one maid can only do one task in M'sia (though we are still not sure if there is any communication breakdown here).

Oh ya! The request on Malaysia maid quite absurd. Why not just fix a higher salary to cover all duties instead of breaking it down.

Yes, there’s police report attached to MOM when I wrote to them cuz this maid smoke in my hse and when i called agent to pick her up immediately…he refused and said he is not free to do so since it’s a weekend. So that nite she ran away and we made a police report.
