Hi, got a qn below that need help:

Sorry for the ugly picture, dunno how to use tools to redraw it. The ans sheet provided gave the following working for (a):

angle CBD = angle ADB = 25
angle IBF = 25 / 2 = 12.5
angle EBD = angle IBF = 12.5
angle CBH = 90 - 12.5 - 25 = 52.5

The problem is I dunno how they get/derived the first value angle CBD = 25, or is there something missing from the diagram?

Mark’s current age is 1/4 of Ronald’s. In 24 years’ time, Ronald’s age will be 14 years less than twice Mark’s age. What is Ronald’s age now?

Mark current age: u and Ronald : 4u

24 yrs later, mark age: u + 24 and Ronald : 4u+ 24
Twice Mark age: 2u+ 48
24 years later, Ronald age is 14 less than twice mark age
4u+ 24 +14 =2u+ 48
2u =10
u= 5
Ronald now 20 years old

B) Jewel decided to put all the strawberries equally into bass of 16. find th minimum number of bags that she would need.

If packed into boxes of 4, 3 strawberries left --> if we add 1 more, the remainder can be packed into another box of 4

If packed into boxes of 6, 5 strawberries left --> if we add 1 more, the remainder can be packed into another box of 6.

So, if we add 1 more strawberry, the total number of strawberries can be packed into boxes of 4 or boxes of 6 exactly with no remainder --> total number is a multiple of both 4 & 6 --> multiple of 12
Multiples of 12 in the range of 100 to 150 --> 108, 120, 132, 144
Possible number of strawberries --> 107, 119, 131, 143
