Muslims Kid in Catholic School

Are there any muslim kids schooling in any Catholic school?

Just wonder if it’s alright to do. I heard during massess non catholic students are excused from joining.

don't think any issue with the school.

would the Muslim community mind ?

just like Christian mission schools, any non-Christian is welcome as long as the grades meet the cut off

Yes non Catholics are excused from the masses and are not forced to join in. I was from a convent school.

My daughter had a Muslim Classmate in her P4-P6 class. In a SAP convent school. Didn't hear any problems. Although I heard the girl was fasting during one stay-in camp bc it was fasting month.

My DS is in P4, in an-all-boys Catholic mission school & my DDs P3 & P1 r both in an all-girls Catholic mission school too.. & yes, we r Muslims.


So far, far, so good..
Both schools excuse them from masses & Catechism periods.

On the other hand, we send our kids to religious classes twice a week just to balance things up.
