I am thinking of enrolling my girl in Berries when she’s P1. Any suggestion of which branch is better?

Looking into enrolling my K1 son in Chinese enrichment class.

Quite kancheong now as he’s very slow & lazy.
Till now he doesnt fully recognise English letters; not to say recognise words.
Already sending him to English enrichment class

Now thinking of of Chinese class…
There are two branches @ Tampines; Tampines Mart & Tampines Central.
So far, didnt see any feedback on Tampines Central’s

Hope someone can contribute?

How old is your child?
If pre-school age, i think the Hougang (behind bus interchange) branch (Blk 839, i think) is full.

But Bishan has a new class on 4th April for K1 every Wed at 7.30pm – if you don’t mind travelling a bit. I know coz i just enquired both.

So are you signing up for the K1 class on Wed nite?
If you do, it will be easier for you to change to another timeslot if you thk Wed nite does not work for you eventually as they still put the existing students (who want to change timeslot) on higher priority than the new ones.

Erh, yes i signed up for Wed night, 7.30pm class.
But i opted for Hougang (nearer) as another mummy withdraw her tentative booking for this slot. Last place - i chop the day i went down to enquire personally.

Hahaha... but my boy tried the trial and like it also lah.

Btw, i am signing up the phonics class with Teacher Serene on Sat, 1.30pm. I had wanted Bishan Berries for Sat morning so convenient for me to bring him over to phonics later but alas, no space.

Can totally forget abt wkend classes at Berries - e last time i asked, they showed me this scary long waiting list...

Oh I didnt know Teacher Serene has 1:30pm class.. the morning ones all full? oops :offtopic:... better pm....

Hi, just want to give feedback on the trial class I went at Tampines mart on sat.

My son enjoyed himself there even though he does not like to study. His feedback was that there was no plackground! * faint…
As he still can’t express himself well, he said they were writing , sing songs and read storybook in the class.

Teacher’s feedback was he does not know a lot of words even after hinting. And his reply was all in English. Needs a lot of practice with him at home.

Overall quite tempted to sign him up but the timing not that good
