My ds is currently in NHPS P5 GEP. There are 2 classes of GEP each year. Normally, the students that live in the west will opt for NHPS as this is nearest GEP school. The school hours starts from 7.30am to 1.30pm for Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday ends at 1pm and Thursday ends at 4pm. CCA usually starts at 3.30pm or earlier depending on the CCA you choose. Normally, it will ends at 5.30pm. He had stayed back among everyday for this year for his projects, remedial and CCA. In P4, his only stayed back on Monday for CCA and Thursday for enrichment class. During his time, we opt for NHPS as our only choice because NHPS is the nearest to home. The school bus will pcik him up at 6.10am every morning and will take about 1 hour to send him back home and on days that he has to miss his school bus due to remedial or projects works than he would take a bus home himself. That why, its good to opt for school that is near to home and easy access to public transport if he missed the school bus.

does any one know how many P3 students from ACS Junior/ ACS Primary got GEP selected this year. :?

Visit the ACS Pri booth, the representatives there will advise you. Usually their own boys from Pri and Jr would have taken up 30+ places, leaving only 10+ to the public. Assuming all eligible boys from Methodist schools applying to ACS Pri (I think they'll have priority), that would leave even less places for the public.

              THNX A LOT KEROPPI.

Thanks EQmum. When do they start remedial and under what criteria and for what subjects? When will they stop remedial? Are there many GEP studetns attending remedial?

Is remedial lesson common in all other GEP centres?

Anyone know whether GEP students are included in the Edusave scholarship of top 5% & 10 % at end of P5 and P6 togather with the mainstream students or they have a seperate one?

That's what happened last year, isn't it? Rosyth and Catholic High.

You mean CH not so popular (good in Acadamic and overall development) . I heard Rosyth Acadimically very strong :x
