Yes I heard 2 of my friend who had maid’s who will purposely smoke infront of u so that u will transfer her out. The other maid wash the table in the toilet bowl. Such maid’s are very vengeful. Don’t understand why my friend never send them back. Think because of loan issue.

The agency has been in operation since 2001! :nailbite:

Anymore feedback from those who have used their services?

MOM will not blacklist maids unless there is a police report attached stating the reason for blacklist, due to theft & etc. Otherwise, MOM will take it as a dispute between maid & employer.

Some agency tend to recycle maid and are not honest to potential employer.

The maid run away at 5am in the morning and when I call Steven Loo, the agent. His HP is off so I sms him several times but he never reply or return my call. I only manage to get him at 11am then I ask him to pick the maid up. He said I am at MOM now so unable to pick the maid, the earliset is around 3pm+++. I said I can bring her over to his company where his wife Mary is there. Then, he said mobody in the office until I said … If u decide not to pick her asap, I will bring her to your office and wait till… Immediately, he call and came pick her up less than half an hours…

I have made a police report and to MOM recently that is when I have recoveredhe balance loan from Steven Loo.

MOM officers will only be able to tell me the same old sentence " Pls settle the loan etc with your agent and there is nothing we can help u or u can request CASE for assistance." I have called CASE and they said I have to pay a nominal fee and if ut stated in the contract, there is nothing they can do to help me recover my money…

The law in Singapore to engage maid is hopeless and of benefit to the maid and agent… Nobody is helping the employer who might be a victims too. MOM only get the employer to pay pay pay —levy every month.

Anyway, now I am maidless and carefree… Kids are much happier now especially my
girl said finally no more auntie…

Why is MOM making it very difficult for an employer to blacklist maids when the employer has all the supporting information to provide?

This post only convinces me that employers in singapore are in a lose-lose situation. We don’t have support groups; we don’t have human rights against bad manipulative maids. Now there is even news that employers may have to pay more agency fees in near future. I think we employers better off get the iRobot than hire maids to do housework. At least iRobot won’t argue back, steal from us or abuse our kids.

Now my two children are very happy without a maid… So does my mum and us… Though… Initial part is tough… But it really just a matter of getting use to it… Now after months, life is really so much better without maid…
