        qms:
        pup_pup:

singapore citizen, we stay within 1km of both schools.

Since your backup school is Bt Timah Pri, and this school historically had vacancies in P2CS, it may be worthwhile going through the balloting for Pei Hwa in P2C. Who knows, your child may be lucky.

In the event your child doesn't get a place in Pei Hwa, you may then apply with Bt Timh Pri in P2CS. In this case, there is no need to station the parents in the two schools.

Of course, the above recommendation is based on past statistics.

        Pup pup
do note that as qms had pointed out, her suggestions r based on past statistics. Do u have a back up sch besides bukit timah pri? Be mentality prepared that in the event u did not succeed in pei hwa balloting, u may need to ballot for bukit timah pri n u must be prepared for plan c in case u run out of luck in p2csupp ballot. I am assuming, if PR staying in bukit timah area r now not able to join in ballot for super popular schs in bukit timah stretch, if most of them turn to bukit timah pri for p2c, p2csupp vacancies will greatly reduce as a result.
Just ensure u have back up plan for your backup plan when u want to participate in pei hwa ballot in p2c. N also monitor pei hwa's vacancy at p2c n check with the sch on the number of citizen applicants within 1km to better ascertain your chances.
        Good luck.

yeah, i was afraid of tat situation too, esp since the news came out.

wat is also worrying me now is tat i cannot find a suitable back-up ard my area.

i was in fact, quite confident to get into BT if i cannot make it to PH but after the news, am not so sure… duno which sch to choose as back up too, as schools ard tis area all seem super popular and by the time i get to phase 2c, schools ard the area would be full too…

          stressed…

If you want to be sure, apply with Bt Timah Pri in P2C then. You won't feel stressful. Bt Timah Pri is also a good school.

Of course, applicants at Pei Hwa will thank you for not vying the highly coveted place with them.

                    hi zoolet,

is it necessary for this immunisation certificate? isn't the health booklet sufficient? anyway, i have download the certificate and there's a missing MMR D2. i remember there's just 1 jab of MMR to be taken at 18 mths... how come there's another jab of MMR D2?

Either the health book or the immunisation cert is sufficient.
