I hope there will be a time when I can do away with a car. Imagine the kind of money I would save every month. Maybe when ds hits Sec 1 when I donβt need to send him to all the enrichment classes.

Dec' 94 COE $110500 , one mth later Jan'95 COE $65000 :yikes:
Those buy in dec'94 must be :frustrated: ... Moral of the story tahan first until COE drop than buy. -

nonid frustration, they quickly scrap the car and got back everything, almost no loss, those days PARF was like 80% or around thereDec' 94 COE $110500 , one mth later Jan'95 COE $65000 :yikes:

Strangely, so many ERP gantries, so high Coe, the road is still pack with cars!!! Everywhere!! -

I think the taxis COEs are making the smaller cars more expensive. Recently, it was reported in the newspapers that bidding from taxi companies make up more than 30% of the bids in the small cars category.

it is basically say that taxis are making small cars more expensive and zheng hu does not give a good explanation of why it is doing like that. It is unfair to let us common people fight for COE with taxi companies, they have so much cash and they need to taxi to make a profit but some of us just need it for convenience or work in very far places. Public buses are exempted COE leh...arghhh...
