Woman killed in Sengkang bus accident

puff:
Bus driver very reckless nowadays .... I can stand beside the zebra crossing waiting for the bus to slow down but instead it sped pass.
Some bus drivers I encountered before were very reckless. Either they are rushing to meet their schedule or simply impatient. -
Wan:
Some driver are just rushing even with people crossing... Got ramps also can drive very fast.OIC...when I'm driving, I find pedestrians jaywalking very dangerous. When I'm walking, I find drivers very reckless. I guess it's time to review the right turning traffic light with green man crossing. Sometimes, opp direction car can be very fast & last minute pedestrian dash out when green man blinking. I usu do right turn when green arrow is on, but I can expect cars behind me cursing this lady driver.
For kids, I was taught to maintain eye contact with the driver b4 crossing. I see pedestrians at zebra crossing eyes on HP ears plugged with ear piece. I make sure my kids are taught all these road safety rules as young as possible. I ask them not to cross while green man is blinking. Guess we can only do such precautions to educate our next generation.

Especially those driving posh or expensive continental cars like BMW. They think they own the road as well and totally disregard for pedestrian on the roads. They really have ego problem.

Why must people generalise like that?

Why must people generalise like that?[/quote]Because I live to tell you this. I encountered so many instances myself so I can say this. Come to parking, anywhere, their mentality is the same.

BMW stands for \"Mian Ta You\" (No need petrol) ! and i think if one is driving a posh car, he should drive SLOWLY so that people can admire how posh the car is mah ...

Zoom??? Haha at 90km/hour. Frankly.... their ferrari is only for show and not for zooming due to our speed limit. -

Another dangerous road users are cyclist. At zebra crossing, they would just cycle past without stopping to check the traffic. How dangerous..... as sometimes driver cannot stop in time.It is an accident camera that is usually hung under the mirror. Auto recording. Usually only replayed in an accident to see if people cut your lane or didnt signal etc etc...
Actually, pedestrians have to be really careful. After i started driving, then i do realise that even as a slow driver, there are times where cars / people are in your blind spot. Most scary is where impatient drivers want to cut u from behind when u are actually slowing down because u saw a pedestrian crossing in front of u.
