Hi Bagconomics,
For K2 I used the books of sentences too.
As for P1 I use the booklets by Teachers' production. The retail shop is at The Forum though. http://teachersproduction.appsfly.com/products
The other one I use is the Conquer series from Popular.
The above is based on my preferance. You also need to see if the materials meet your child's need. -

Hi Bagcononics,
I bought the book of sentences at Popular. Best to approach the staff for help. I bought it some time back, so cannot remember under which section I found it.
You could also call the branch to chk if they still have stk. -

Hi Janet, Good morning!
I found this post under P3 English Q and A thread. hope you can advice her.optimistforum:
How is your daughter?.. ThanksHi Janet_lees88
I need your help, please.
If I cannot get my son to read, enoy the task and absorh what he has learned, is there any value in letting him carry on with teh EPH Complete Practice in Vocab, Comprehension, Grammar and Cloze. He learns words and reading this way. Is this some form of adequate fall-back? Please advise? -
Hi plum cake,
I am trying my luck coaching my daughter…give advice ? I wouldn’t dare.
Of late, I have been getting her to do English by herself. I do go read comprehension passages first to see if they are suitable.
Realized I cannot be sitting beside her all the time…which was a mistake I made with my son. After she is done, she will ask me to mark it. She finds it less stressful to do without me looking. -
hey can anyone give good recommendation for vocabulary and comprehension practice for p2 :skeptical:

For normal revision on comprehension, my daughter is using 'success in comprehension' by manda pullen. The other title is 'mastering comprehension' by geetha menon.
She is having exams soon...so now mainly passages from past year papers as practice. For vocab, I wanted to get creative vocab published by red spot but find it a bit difficult. My son is using the P6 one though...vocab exposure is good revision for him. -
i will check it out ,thank u janet

Sure...anytime.
I find that daughter's comprehension passages from school require her to know how to 'find phrase or word' from passage. Is this called 'infer' ?
