Oh ya schweppes, my broadband plan for the iPad is only $10.00 a month. 😉

      I'm with M1.

      Still need to include the monthly multi-SIM card cost right?

      that's what i thot too... knowing our telcos, if they can milk us dry, they will :razz:

      😉
Using hubs' New iPad with 4G & wi-fi.

      He opted for additional broadband plan of $10.70 every month. At the point of sign up, was charged a ~$45++ amount for one-time reg fee or some sort. That's it. No frills. No multi-sim charges whatsoever.

      My M1 mobile broadband is $10 flat. One-time registration was half of what hubs paid for his Singtel. Also, no frills. That's that. Just additional $10 billed to your monthly account.

          SAN FRANCISCO: Apple said on Monday it would start marketing its new iPad on Friday in South Korea and 11 other countries, with the hot-selling tablet becoming available in more than 50 countries by the end of the month.

          The April 20 launch of the third-generation iPad will see neighbouring Malaysia and Brunei getting stocks of the device with a starting price of MYR 1,499 as well as South Korea, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.

          By April 27, the new tablet will be available in Thailand with an opening price of THB฿16,500 alongside Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro and South Africa.

          Apple launched the device last month and sold three million over the course of its first weekend on the market.

          China has been noticeably absent from an iPad release schedule, and some analysts said it may be the result of a nettlesome trademark battle with Chinese computer firm Proview Technology.

          Debt-laden Proview is suing Apple in China for trademark violation for calling its tablet computer \"iPad.\"

            May I ask if anybody bought a "charger ie battery", so that when the battery of new iPad runs low, we can insert the charger?

            Thank you.

                Yes, you have used the appropriate term - power bank.
                Anybody buying it and how much can it charge our iPad?
                Thank you.

                  The ipad 3 battery should be around 8500mAh. And according to spec it can last 10hrs.

                  So, if you buy a 8500mAh power bank, it will give a full charge to a fully drained iPad 3 and make it last another 10hrs.

                  Any power bank rated below 8500mAh will Not be able to give the ipad 3 a FULL charge.

                  I didn't own any of these. My comments are all based on technical specs.

                  You want to find out how much can it charge your iPad, just look at the capacity, in mAh. Divide it by 8500mAh to give the percentage it can charge your iPad.

                  8500mAh = 1 Full charge = 10hrs
                  4250mAh = 50% charge = 5hrs

                  etc..

                  These are just estimates. No comment on real practical performance..

                    Yes, Limlim is right. I have a 5000mAh battery pack and a 10000mAh one. The 5000 one charges the iPad for another 50% while the 10000 will charge the iPad 100%.

                      Hi, anyone who has used both the new iPad and iPad 2, tell me which one is better in terms of user-friendly, value-for-money and energy-saving? I heard the new iPad heat up faster than the iPad2, so it may be a concern as I’m planning to watch my fave movies and drama serials with it.

                        Angelight- Samsung Note is great for watching movie and drama. In addition you can use it as phone function. The screen is big so ok for eye comfort.
