My son told me about SJI open house on 14/4. If my son goes to SJI, the distance home (upper Bukit Timah) will be long, especially at upper sec when school ends later.

I want an all boys, non SAP school, non IP. What are my options ?

So SJI would still be a good choice. Actually Upper Bukit Timah is not that far considering that the present SJI site is actually just off Bukit Timah/Dunearn. Once the downtown line opens in 2015 and SJI shifts back for the start of 2016, it should be even faster.

Thanks for your prompt reply...appreciate. SJI presently located at Malcolm is not too far off from home. He can take SBS direct bus home. It's the 2 years at bishan which will be inconvenient. 2014/5, he will be in Sec 2/3. At least I know what are the all boys sec around...thanks again.

Which Secondary School is your 2012 PSLE child aiming for?

          and why that school?

          πŸ˜„

your child PSLE this year ?

nope. He is P3 this year.

My daughter wants to go to TKGS but she scores quite well, she was affected by her friends. I want her to go to dunman high but she just refuses is there any way to change her mindset?

If she had scored quite well in the 2011 PSLE, she would have started school in January this year, right? So what are you talking about?

Bring yr daughter to DHS openhouse which will be held on 26 May (Sat) to get a feel of the sch.
Perhaps after seeing the new DHS sch premises,
getting to know the dunmanians there and
watching those impressive CCA performing arts' performances,
she may change her mindset..... πŸ˜„

i think she is referring to school internal exams which her daughter has done well,
So expects a good PSLE t score too......

Anyone knows if DHS is near to any MRT or circle lines?

                        TIA.
