So it was diff last yr, no more all crowding ard the teachers, haha.....
Oh yes, this was how it was conducted when I attended PTM for Y1/2010. But it was different last year. It was 1-to-1 and you have to queue to see each subject teacher.
More privacy
But we were only given a few minutes with each teacher and there was a student besides as a time-keeper.
i wasnt aware of the change as i did not attend the PTM in yr 2.
oh....still need a student besides as a time-keeper....so must shoot all questions fast ....

Finally I asked because Augmum is like the ambassador of this thread. So when Augmum asks, have to *salute* and YES MADAM! hahaha...
Yes, likely to attend PTM as I have some doubts to clear regarding Y3 subject enrichment. Other than that, no news is good news.
Haha...listen to P's words, i.e. washes own dishes. Now must iron own school U to start develop enduring skills (from home).

DHS does not participate in the Joint admission exercise.
I think taking in of O level students is case by case basis.
If u are keen, u can refer to DHS link here to contact the sch for more info.

What is this enrichment class? Is it for better students to do more advanced material in the subject they were selected for? How many of such enrichment classes can a student take?

Hi jtoh,

At end of Y2, students choose their subj-combo option and at the same time, they can opt for subject/s to go for enrichment in Y3 and 4. It can be Math enrichment, Hist enrichment or Geog enrichment etc. I do not know how many such classes can a student take.
Students selected for specific subj will be grouped together for enriched and/or accelerated learning (in-class enrichment) and selection is merit-based. There are 30+ students in each of the two such subject classes that I know
, that's top 10% for each subject.

Nightrace:
Thanks nightrace. So do these students do A level syllabus?

Hi to DHS parents/students, may I know if there is an open house this year for P6s to view and experience? TIA
-
DHS Open House is on 26 May 2012, Saturday.
It will be good to attend the Principal Talk to get more information. The program table may be on the school website at a later date.
