Hi all, i am wondering for parents whose primary schools have closed down, do we lose our chance to register our kids at phrase 2A? Please advise…

Yes, if you are very sure that the school has indeed closed down. If the school has been merged to another school, you will be able to help your child register at P2A of the merged school, provided you still have the necessary documents (e.g. report book).

After reading this thread, a question came to mind. There was a period when MOE was busy closing down primary schools, then suddenly not enough vacancies or something to that effect? Sigh…

"Redhill Primary School has merged with Bukit Merah North Primary School and Bukit Merah South Primary School in 1986 to form Bukit Merah Primary School. However, you may wish to know that Bukit Merah Primary School has also closed in 1998…"

It was opposite Crescent girls, on top of a slope. Maybe Crescent girls could have even taken over the premise?

The slope... from the other side where my primary school was ... very scary... :scared: everytime when we had to go to the dentist in Belvedere.

Thought Alexandra Estate Primary School was there sharing compound with Cresent Girls in the 80s?
